This paper analyzes the treatment given to the figure of Helen of Troy in the play Juicio a una zorra
(2011), which provides us with a human and postmodern model of a woman who takes her own decisions
and faces the consequences. The author, Miguel del Arco (Madrid, 1965), takes advantage of the rich and
complex mythical tradition developed around Helen from Antiquity and, subverting it, he offers us a new
point of view, making her character appear in the presence of a public who judges her, to explain her version
of the events which led to her abuse and subsequent humiliation. In that way, the play outlines a twentyfirst
century Helen whom the contemporary spectator can fully understand.

Seventeenth-century sources describe a lost edition of Dracontius, Eugenius of Toledo and other poems with notes of commentary produced by Miguel Ruiz de Azagra, an almost unkown Spanish scholar, editor of Corippus (1589). This lost edition would have been previous to the editio princeps of Eugenius published in 1619 by the efforts of Jacques Sirmond. The part concerning Dracontius has been discussed some years ago («Aevum», 80, 2006). The present article marks the discovery of the complete edition in a manuscript (Sevilla, Biblioteca Capitular, 58-1-3). Had it been printed, it would have been a milestone in the editorial history of late-antique and early-medieval authors in Spain. It shows Ruiz de Azagra as a skilled editor and scholar.

An appraisal of the benthic marine algal communities of the bay of São Vicente (São
Miguel island. Azores) was undertaken in July 1996 and July 1997 as part of the project "Biodiversity of the archipelago of the Azores". A permanent transect was laid down across the subtidal zone. Quadrates were sampled at pre-determined intervals along the transect from the low water level, down to 30m depth. Qualitative collections were made along the transect. O presente trabalho tem como objectivo o estudo e documentação de duas obras pertencentes à colecção do Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea do Chiado. Trata-se das instalações Cultura Hidropónica e Exposição de Ocasião, do artista Miguel Palma. Estas obras não se encontravam devidamente documentadas, o que iria dificultar ou mesmo impossibilitar a sua correcta re-instalação no futuro, sem a presença do artista.
Para a realização deste trabalho foi essencial uma intensa e detalhada recolha de informação, publicada e não publicada, sobre o artista, as suas obras e sobre os materiais e técnicas usadas nos casos de estudo, que posteriormente foram complementadas pela informação obtida nas entrevistas realizadas ao artista.
