Reflexões sobre ética e deontologia profissional
No âmbito do estudo do móvel pintado em Portugal na centúria de setecentos, o presente artigo pretende abordar a sua presença na Ilha da Madeira. Caracterizam-se, assim,determinadas especificidades de produção artística, encomenda, estudo técnico e estado de conservação actual. Neste sentido, é apresentado o estudo de caso de dois oratórios policromados, de produção oficinal portuguesa.
The lichens do to their symbiont nature have unic characteristics that confer them a key role as a bioindicators of the environmental contamination. Many investigations have been done using epiphytic lichens as a bioindicators, but only a few of them have used crustose epilithic lichens. The main objective of this work is to show the air quality of Valencia and corroborate the efficacy of the crustose epilithic lichens as a bioindicators of the air pollution. With this objective it has been analyzed the heavy metals inside the lichens growing on the façade of the Santos Juanes church in Valencia situated in the nerve centerof the city.

Uma das questões mais apelativas dos estudos de conservação e restauro reside, precisamente, no quanto se pode ainda descobrir. Este mistério, essa curiosidade perante os enigmas que nos são colocados pelas obras de arte e objectos culturais, convertem-se em desafios fundamentais para a investigação. Citric Acid and EDTA are two chemical agents which are becoming indispensable tools inthe cleaning of pictorial structures. Undoubtedly, they allow professionals to solve verycomplex problems while raising doubts as to the possible negative effects on the originalpainting. In comparison with organic solvents, there still exists little information about theprotocols to be followed in designing cleaning systems with chelating agents.
