This study shows the construction system of the supports of a group of paintings that formpart of a Castilian altarpiece made between the XVth and XVIth centuries. The methodologyused has been based on the data obtained from the radiographic analysis and from the directvisual inspection of those panels and it all has been crosschecked with both unpublished andthe already published information concerning this altarpiece. The resulting documentationgoes into detail in the study of Castilian panels´ construction and it allows establishingassociations between scattered or anonymous works and specific geographical areas. Italso makes it easier to attribute works to the same author or workshop.
Neste artigo apresenta-se o sistema construtivo dos suportes de um conjunto de pinturaspertencentes a um retábulo elaborado entre os séculos XV e XVI. A metodologia aplicadabaseou-se na informação extraída do exame radiográfico e da inspecção visual dos painéis,que se comparou com informação inédita e com a já publicada sobre este retábulo. A documentaçãoconseguida com esta metodologia aprofunda o conhecimento sobre a construção dos painéis espanhóis, possibilita a vinculação entre obras dispersas ou anónimas emdeterminadas zonas geográficas e/ou facilita a sua atribuição a um mesmo autor ou oficina.
